After Two Jack and Minnewanka, and the Mt. Norquay view point, Bill and I drove back up the 1A highway to Johnston Canyon (a place highly recommended - Thank you Diana!).
Johnston Canyon is a pretty, moss-covered crevice with a river at the bottom and a very nice walkway running its length. We made it to the lower falls but had to turn around there because Bill's back was starting to spasm.
Unfortunately, it was a bit late in the day to do the canyon (esp. for pictures - too dark), but it was our last day in Banff, so...! But I loved the light that was left shining on the water below.
What a walk, eh?!
And the end - of the first section. Here are the lower falls. There are upper falls, and "ink pots" farther on, but I guess those will have to wait till next time...
