After getting our house cleaned up as best as I could, I came back to Missoula and cleaned up the RV...again! Sure was nice flying into such a little, user-friendly airport! And nice being back with my little "herd."
And then we went out to dinner, to this great chain called Famous Dave's. Cute atmosphere and great food, including BBQ!
The RV park we stayed in was called Jim & Mary's but was owned by Walt & Judy! They bought it from Jim and Mary and were smart - they didn't change the name since it was already such a well-known and well-loved place! This was a wonderful place to stay! A whole troop of women gardeners kept the place blooming - flowers and decorations everywhere! This is one of our "10" places!
Scratty and Bill, cruisin'...!
One of the weirdest/coolest flowers I've ever seen! Not quite sure what it is still... They grew a little of everything here!!
This bee appreciates it too!
Yup, gotta do the other cat too...!
Father and son, riding into the sunset...
And we'll end Missoula on this note, shall we? It was a great stop and a great stay. Missoula's got everything (Costco, Petco, Target, Famous Daves!!, etc., etc.), but it still has a good feel to it. It doesn't FEEL like big city. It's a giant valley surrounded by small mountains and seems to be populated with nice folks.
