Sept. 1 - Bear's Hump

While some clouds lingered, the rain appeared to be over, so I decided this would be the day I hiked up the Bear's Hump - a short uphill hike to a spectacular lookout.  But first, I stopped by Cameron Falls - an unusual waterfall within walking distance from our RV!

I also stopped for some photos of the Prince of Wales hotel (left side, in the distance) from various viewpoints.  I liked the clouds.

And here's a marina that's below where the hotel sits.  See the rounded rock hump that's partially lit up on the hillside above?  That's the Bear's Hump.

The hotel through a hole in the bushes on the Bear's Hump trail.

The view from the Bear's Hump!  You can see Upper Waterton Lake, surrounded by mountains, and the cute little town of Waterton itself - and our campground, Waterton Townsite.  Worth the hike, don't you think?!

Middle Waterton Lake (on left) and Upper (on right) and Mt. Vimy.

Our campground - and our RV!  Can you see Bill and the critters in the motor home?    :)
